I am Debbie Kay Brown from St. Louis, MO my husband and I have lived here with our children for over 17 years. Ron and I run a small cleaning business that was started in 1999 full time.
I do the marketing and taxes for the business and my husband Ron, interacts with the clients and cleans their beautiful homes.
I've always wanted to be my own boss from as early as I can remember. My mother tried her hand at selling Shaklee products when I was a teen. Over the years I've done some selling from Tupperware to Avon. I ran my own child care business for (4) years. I've joined a many network marketing venture because I liked the business model and I enjoyed helping others with products or services that would enrich their lives.
I've been on the internet approximately (8) years and I'm pretty much self taught. In fact, I'm really good at wanting to learn something and figuring out how to do it. I may have to try and try again but I'm tenacious in that way. After all these years I've made some break through in my learning and I wanted to share them with others in the hopes that I can save some of you time, energy and money.
I have one child born from a previously ugly marriage and Nina is now 24 years old. Nina works for US Cellular in St. Louis, MO full time and on her nights and weekends she is available to pet sit. Please feel free to visit her site at

I have not really experienced the empty nest syndrome because our Nicholas was born on Nina's 12th birthday. Yep.. he's now 12 years old & it still amazes me that they both share the same day of birth each year.
I currently work full time at a financial company to pay the bills & to get health care, vision, dental, etc. my heart is all about working from home full-time to enjoy a bit more time with our son, Nicholas and a bit more time with the people in my community volunteering to help them with their spiritual health.
I miss so many things in Nick's life because of working 9 to 5 at a corporate job, although I really like my work and the people I work with. Heck, I spend so many hours with them even more then my own family and friends.
I did have one job that allowed me more time with Nicholas but it had no benefits. It was the best job ever and that was dog walking and pet sitting. Yep, if it provided more benefits I'd do it again in a heart beat!
Hugs,
Debbie ~
